Bid on J Stevens Arms Co Crack-Shot 22 Single Shot Rifle sold at auction by North American Auction Company 195 on 25th August Featured in this lot for bidding is a J. Stevens Crack Shot, breech loading rifle, chambered for.22 Long Rifle. The firearm utilizes a blue'd receiver, walnut fixtures, and a 20. Stevens Crack Shot No. 26 Single Shot RifleManufactured circa 1911 to 1930. Blade front and adjustable sporting rear sights on a barrel marked with the two line Stevens Arms address, caliber, and 1913 patent date information ahead of the rear sight. The left side of the receiver is marked 'CRACK SHOT-26', along with a circled 'SVG' logo. Smooth forearm and pistol grip stock with smooth steel. Can anyone provide information for this Stevens Crackshot 26. It belongs to a friend of mine, and trying to replace some of the broken/bent parts. From what I was told it was purchased in the 1930's and the lever had broke and been repairs some years ago. The original owner also replaced the sights with some homemade brass ones.
